Our new record "Sesso.Vita" will be hitting stores tomorrow (11/13/07) via Anodyne Records. We started the recording process for this over a year ago and we are extremely proud to see our new baby finally unleashed into the wild. 7' Announcement - Plus artwork revealed!!

On September 11th, 2007 JAXART - a newly formed label focusing on music, art, photography, and social outreach will be releasing The Valley Arena's "Kick At The Celing" exclusively on 7" Colored Vinyl. Only 1,000 7" will be produced.

The "Kick At The Ceiling" 7 inch will include a killer remix (by Free the Robots) and a download card allowing purchasers to recieve the tracks in high quality MP3 Format.

Calling All Artists - Valley Arena Vinyl Design Contest!!!

We know so many talented artists amongst the friends we've made through this band. We're placing and open call to create concepts for our upcoming 7 Inch vinyl release. Here are the details:

- The 7 Inch is for our song "Kick at the Ceiling" which you can hear on our profile at www.myspace.com/thevalleyarena

- We don't have the info for the exact print specs yet - but it will probably be a standard cardboard sleeve and black vinyl.

- It is a "digital vinyl" release which means, when purchased you also recieve a code to redeem online for digital versions of the songs. Besides Kick at the Ceiling and an unreleased vinyl b-side (TBA), you will be able to download an additional ITunes exclusive song by us - also previously unreleased.

- The 7 inch will be available in most independent record stores that sell vinyl. It will also be distributed through Itunes and all other major online distributors so your art would likely be used for that as well.

- The only guidelines is that the art should say the band name (duh), the name of the single "Kick at the Ceiling".

- The winner will attain worldwide fame and get to go on a date with The Valley Arena member of their choice. No touching or eye contact with members of The Valley Arena will be allowed.

- Send a .jpg of your mock-up design to thevalleyarena@hotmail.com. The deadline for art will be May 19th 2007.

Tour

New Album and Tour Update!

Hmm so it’s been quite a while since we had a proper update here. First things first - we finally got the mastered version of our new record back and we couldn’t be happier. We should have an announcement of the release details sometime in the very near future. What’s that? You want to hear it? Well, since you asked, we’ve got two of the brand new tracks up on www.myspace.com/thevalleyarena. “Perfume Has Expired” and “Kick at the Ceiling”. We hope you like them, because they sure like you.

In related news, if you like those two songs, you’ll be able to purchase them from us on a limited edition tour CD we’ll begin selling in late February. The EP will also include another brand new recording of “Always On”, a new track that we played on most of our 2005 tours that will NOT be available on the album or anywhere else for the foreseeable future.

And I suppose you can’t have a tour EP without a tour – so we’ll be hitting the road with the fabulous Le Meu Le Purr (TVT records) from 2/22 to 3/23. Look for more details on that tour coming soon!

Touring the West Coast Again!

The Valley Arena is hitting up the left coast something fierce starting next week! Shows in every last crevice of California plus some Las Vegas and Phoenix action!

We'll be hitting the road with good friends The Stilleto Formal and Brilliant Red Lights. We will be playing LOTS of material from our forthcoming record and this will be the first chance to hear many of the songs. Get excited.

Let us know if you plan on coming out to the shows! As usual - floors to sleep on are a bonus. Lets get crazy, no?
